Nursing Director - Behavioral Health West Palm Beach, Florida Full-Time | Days Only | No Weekends A leading acute care hospital in West Palm Beach is seeking an experienced Nursing Director to lead a large Behavioral Health department within a fast-paced inpatient setting. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned Behavioral Health leader or an experienced Behavioral Health Manager ready to step into a Director-level role within a well-established hospital environment. Position Overview The Nursing Director will oversee all operational, clinical, financial, and staffing functions for the Behavioral Health department, ensuring high-quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and departmental efficiency. The Behavioral Health service line includes inpatient programs supporting children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Behavioral Health department Manage daily departmental operations, staffing, budgeting, productivity, and performance improvement Drive patient satisfaction, quality outcomes, and regulatory compliance Collaborate with physicians, hospital leadership, patients, and interdisciplinary teams Lead and mentor nursing and clinical staff Ensure adherence to hospital policies, safety standards, and best practices Requirements Active RN license BLS certification required Bachelor's Degree required Master's Degree required within 6 months of hire Minimum 5 years of Behavioral Health leadership experience in an acute care setting Experienced Behavioral Health Managers with strong acute care backgrounds will also be considered Compensation $38.50 - $57.00 per hour depending on experience Full-time permanent opportunity Day shift schedule with no weekends Location West Palm Beach, FL If you are an experienced Behavioral Health nursing leader looking to join a respected acute care environment, apply today to learn more.
