Our population is 15-28. We are a tightly knit team and care for a vulnerable population in a transition phase of their lives. Communication, collaboration, strong boundaries, strong adherence to ethical guidelines, and compassion and empathy are extremely important. Recovery Advocates are essential to the daily operations and general atmosphere of Resilience Recovery. They are on the frontlines of client-care and are vital to maintaining the health of the community as a whole. Recovery Advocates are focused on client-care, the physical care of all facilities, and supporting clients stay motivated and on-task, while adhering to all policies and procedures. They are generally responsible for knowing where clients are at all times and ensuring their safety while under our care. It is important that this position is reliable, has great communication and problem-solving skills. The Clinical Recovery Advocate is specifically assigned to oversee the functions at the outpatient facility and does not perform driving tasks unless absolutely needed. We are seeking two male full-time Clinical Recovery Advocates (CRA) from 7:30am-3:30pm and swing shift 10am-6pm. Occasionally, filling in from 8:30am-4:30pm or 11am-7pm may be asked. Clinical Recovery Advocate duties include but are not limited to: Expedite drug testing Expedite observation of clients taking medication and proper documentation Follow all policies and procedures of documentation - observing and noting all unusual client activity, incident reports and any behavior that might need a clinical intervention Enforce boundaries, rules and policies with clients; hold them accountable while providing client support; and redirect behavior Assist in flow of daily client activities and responsible for knowing whereabouts of clients while in the clinical building at all times. Must do rounds every 15 minutes. Assist driver in knowing which clients should be picked up/left at clinical for appointments Create group sign-in sheets daily and assist in taking client attendance and report to Clinical Director any deviance from group roster Responsible for collecting client cell phones/electronics/vapes before every group Responsible for creating Clinical UA weekly schedule (based upon group roster) Responsible for creating weekly lab orders and daily lab requisitions for clients according to UA schedule and promptly informing management of any positive UA's and issues with clients UA'ing Drop off UA samples at UPS/FedEx daily Inform management of any client needs or appointments Supervise clients cleaning up clinical spaces after completion of every group and support with cleaning and regular maintenance of the clinical offices and properly documenting anything that needs attention Responsible for ordering weekly Ideal Nutrition meals for clients while at clinical and weekly Friday take-out meal Handle all responsibilities as directed by Director of Operations, Operations Coordinator and Clinical Director Be present for all indicated Staff Meetings, Trainings, and any House Meetings during their shift Experience in treatment is preferred but not necessary, willing to train for position.
Requirements include:
At least a High school diploma or equivalent expected Must have at least 9 months sober (if in recovery) Excellent written and oral communication skills necessary Behavioral Health Technician experience preferred Experience working with individuals with substance abuse issues in a program of recovery Must have great communication skills, problem solving skills, and ability to take direction Must have general knowledge of PCs and be proficient in a Windows environment Must have knowledge of substance abuse and mental health issues and concerns Must have knowledge of 12-step programs Must have a vehicle, valid driver's license, and clean driving record Completion of a urinalysis drug screening Must be eligible for a Level 2 Background clearance; complete a local criminal background check
