Job Description

Brown Fertility is the leading and fastest growing IVF center in Florida. We are currently seeking a dynamic and meticulous Registered Nurse for the position of Patient Care Coordinator in our Donor/Third Party IVF department. Duties Include but not limited to: • Case Management of "third party" IVF cycles o Coordinating patient care plans by consulting with all necessary care providers to ensure patient needs are met. o Contact potential donors for prescreening o Collect and maintain medical records for cycle clearance o Make sure consent forms and other cycle related documents are completed and archived o Create and maintain egg donor profiles o Serve as point of contact for Egg Donors, Recipients, and all outside parties involved o Monitor patient's progress during IVF cycle and follow up on any missing items Registered Nurse Responsibilities o Assist physician and/or APRN with examinations and procedures o Administer injections, perform necessary phlebotomy, transvaginal ultrasounds, and IUIs o Evaluates and records health history of patient, documenting as required o Prepare patient for exams and procedures o Collects, labels, and documents lab specimen assuring lab results are received in a timely manner. o Assist in patient calls and authorize prescription refills as approved by physicians o Capable of administrating IV therapy o Obtain referrals for maternal fetal medicine and psychological evaluation o Follow office policies for infectious control in handling and disposing of infectious/hazardous waste materials. o Ensure consents are completed signed and scanned into the electronic medical records o Perform admission vitals and assessments o Orders medical and lab supplies and assures needed supplies are available at all times o Assures compliance with OSHA, AAAAFS, and HIPAA requirements o Other duties as assigned o Job description and responsibilities subject to change
Skills and Qualifications:
o Familiarity with electronic medical records software preferred o Strong organizational and time management skills o High Level of customer service o Attention to detail and independent o Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Florida license as a Registered Nurse. o Two years of successful Nursing experience in a physician office or hospital setting with venipuncture and IV Therapy skills and training. o Good computer skills and experience with Electronic Medical Records. o Maintains
ACLS & BLS
certification o Take calls on a rotational basis with other nursing personnel
Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday with weekends as needed/scheduled Previous experience in women's health &/or OB/GYN are preferred.
Pay:
$34.00 - $38.00 per hour
