Albany, GA Pay Range:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Job Type:
Full-time About the Role We are seeking a high-level Office Coordinator to lead the administrative and operational efforts of our Albany branch. This role is designed for a detail-oriented professional who understands that in home health, "paperwork" is just as critical as "people work." You will ensure our agency stays audit-ready and that our field staff are supported, tracked, and compliant.
Key Responsibilities Staffing & Scheduling:
Proactively manage the master schedule, matching caregivers with clients and ensuring no shift goes uncovered.
Visit & Task Verification:
Review and confirm daily visit logs and task sheets to ensure caregivers are performing all duties outlined in the Plan of Care.
Incident Management:
Serve as the intake point for incident reports. You will ensure all incidents are documented, filed, and escalated to the Director immediately per state guidelines.
Compliance Reporting:
Run and review weekly compliance reports to track missing documentation, expired certifications (CPR, TB, etc.), and unsigned physician orders.
Administrative Oversight:
Beyond scheduling, you will manage general office flow, including answering high-volume calls, scanning medical records, and assisting with basic billing preparation.
Quality Assurance:
Audit client files regularly to ensure all documentation is present, legible, and accurate for state inspections.
Required Skills & Qualifications Industry Knowledge:
At least 1 year of experience in a home health or medical office setting is strongly preferred.
Technical Proficiency:
Must be highly comfortable with computers, specifically with scanning/filing systems and healthcare scheduling software.
Critical Thinking:
The ability to spot discrepancies in task sheets or documentation before they become compliance issues.
Communication:
A professional and authoritative yet empathetic phone presence to manage staff and reassure clients.
Integrity:
Ability to handle sensitive medical information (HIPAA) and incident reports with the highest level of confidentiality.
Pay:
$15.00 - $17.00 per hour
