Patient Care Coordinator/Receptionist

The patient care coordinator for Flourish Imaging is responsible for providing a welcoming and compassionate environment for all patients. The patient care coordinator must be an upbeat, detail oriented, courteous individual. The patient care coordinator must be able to:

• Work accurately and efficiently
• Have computer knowledge
• Excellent telephone and office etiquette
• Be fluent in Medical Terminology
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to operate Microsoft Products (Word, Excel, Etc.

) Experience in an imaging facility is a plus.

Duties Include:

• Assure the readiness and tidiness of the front desk reception area for each working day.
• Greet and check in patients and collect personal, medical, and insurance information.
• Assist patients in completing any registration paperwork.
• Being efficient in verifying insurance benefits and patient billing information.
• Schedule, reschedule, and verify patient appointments.
• Performs general clerical, scanning, and paperwork for upcoming patients.
• Schedule patient appointments
• Respond promptly to medical records requests and subpoenas
• Answering Phones
• Respect and maintain Privacy and dignity of patients per HIPPA guidelines
