Job Description
Duties:
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Specialty Services, the Resource Coordinator is responsible for the facilitating, coordinating in conjunction with health care teams, staffing, supplies/equipment, and patient flow/scheduling. Utilizes the nursing process to care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients based on current standards of practice. Functions within the permissible scope of nursing practice as defined by the Georgia Board of Nursing and St. Joseph's/Candler Health System policies and procedures. Maintains an open communication and is available to component organizations and practitioner sites for consultation.Requirements:
Associate Degree in Nursing- Required Registered Nurse License with State of Practice
- Required National Certification
- Required Graduation from an approved school of nursing and current registered nurse license to practice in the State of Georgia. Wound care education and debridement certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS)
