Role:
Join a locally owned and operated hearing clinic as a Patient Care Coordinator, where you will be the vital link between our patients and their audiology care. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals seeking hearing solutions in a warm and welcoming environment.
Responsibilities:
Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression. Schedule and manage patient appointments efficiently to optimize clinic flow. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history. Provide information about audiology services and products to patients and families. Coordinate with audiologists to facilitate patient care and follow-up. Handle patient inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations. Support the clinic's marketing efforts and community outreach initiatives. Assist with insurance questions and determining patient financial responsibility Assist with minor hearing aid repairs Assist with hearing aid phone connections
Requirements:
Audiology, hearing clinic, or hearing aid experience
HIGHLY PREFERRED
High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree in healthcare preferred. Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are essential. Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is advantageous. Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Customer service experience, with a focus on patient satisfaction. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
