Job Description

Job Overview Catoosa Behavioral Health and Wellness Clinic is seeking a reliable, organized, and professional Medical Assistant / Front Desk Coordinator to support daily clinic operations. This role is essential in ensuring smooth patient flow and excellent patient experience in a small, collaborative healthcare setting. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a positive patient experience. You will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointments, intake, and administrative tasks, while also supporting clinical functions such as vital signs collection and assisting healthcare providers. This is a part-time, in-person position with potential for growth as the practice expands. Duties Greet patients warmly upon arrival, verify insurance information, and facilitate efficient check-in processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Collect patient vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration; document accurately Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic flow Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and maintain cleanliness and organization in compliance with health standards Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, managing patient inquiries, updating patient records, and performing intake assessments for outpatient visits Qualifications Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable using computers and electronic medical records (EMR experience a plus) Ability to multitask and stay organized in a small office environment Professional, dependable, and self-motivated
Pay:
$12.00 - $16.00 per hour
