Job Description

Mental Health Patient Coordinator (Part-Time | $22-25/hr | Growth Opportunity) Oasis Health Services is a growing mental health practice dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to individuals across Georgia. We offer innovative mental health services, including psychiatric care, Spravato (esketamine) treatment, and neurocognitive assessments. We are seeking a highly organized, patient-focused Mental Health Patient Coordinator to join our expanding team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment while helping patients navigate specialized mental health services. The role begins as a part-time position with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent opportunity as our Georgia location continues to grow.
Position Summary:
The Mental Health Patient Coordinator serves as a key member of our team, supporting patient care, coordinating specialized services, managing scheduling and communication, and assisting with daily operations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and comfortable working in a fast-paced behavioral health environment. Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Coordination & Scheduling Coordinate patient scheduling and appointment management across multiple service platforms Conduct patient intake and onboarding processes Assist patients with forms, documentation, and appointment preparation Serve as a primary point of contact for patient inquiries and concerns Maintain accurate and timely patient records within the electronic health record (EHR) system Spravato (Esketamine) Treatment Coordination Coordinate scheduling and support for in-person Spravato treatment sessions Assist with patient preparation and treatment-day workflows Ensure accurate documentation and adherence to established protocols Collaborate with clinical staff to promote patient safety and positive treatment experiences Neurocognitive Assessment Support Assist with the administration and coordination of computerized neurocognitive assessments for ADHD and Autism evaluations Coordinate in-person and virtual testing appointments Maintain testing materials, equipment, and documentation Administrative & Operational Support Support daily office operations and workflow management Assist with insurance verification, prior authorizations, and patient communication Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality Help identify opportunities to improve patient experience and office efficiency Support quality improvement initiatives and practice growth
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a healthcare, mental health, medical office, or behavioral health setting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Experience using EHR/EMR systems Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality requirements Strong customer service and patient engagement skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology Preferred Qualifications Experience in mental health, behavioral health, psychiatry, counseling, or substance use treatment settings Certified Medical Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant Experience with insurance verification, prior authorizations, or medical scheduling Experience with practice management software and EHR systems Experience supporting psychiatric or behavioral health providers Compensation & SchedulePart-Time Position 20-25 hours per week Flexible scheduling
Compensation:
$22-25 per hour based on experience Higher starting rates may be considered for candidates with behavioral health, Spravato, insurance verification, prior authorization, or practice management experience.
