BHDD CSB
is seeking an experienced and motivated Community Support Team (CST) Lead to provide clinical leadership, staff supervision, and direct services to individuals with serious mental illness and complex behavioral health needs. This role blends hands‑on clinical work with team leadership, ensuring quality, compliance, and meaningful outcomes for individuals served in real‑world settings. Position Overview The CST Lead oversees day‑to‑day operations of the Community Support Team, ensures state and agency compliance, provides advanced assessments and interventions, and supports staff in delivering high‑quality, recovery‑oriented services primarily in community and non‑clinical settings. Key ResponsibilitiesTeam Leadership & Program Oversight Supervise CST staff Ensure 60% of services are face‑to‑face, with 50% delivered in non‑clinical/community settings Assign and manage staff caseloads of 15-20 individuals, ensuring productivity targets Lead weekly staff meetings and monthly team meetings Monitor documentation, billing submissions, and performance compliance Individual Support & Recovery Services Provide weekly support, skill building, counseling, and interventions per care plan Assist individuals in achieving individualized recovery goals Adjust services and interventions based on clinical need and progress Design interventions for individuals with higher‑acuity or challenging needs Community Collaboration & Advocacy Develop and maintain strong partnerships with community providers and referral sources Coordinate services with hospitals, counseling centers, courts, and other agencies Educate families and communities on available services, advocacy, and supports Ensure ethical, legal, and professional standards are upheld in all interactions Assist with discharge planning to support continued stability in the community Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate, audit‑ready case records for all assigned individuals Ensure all services are documented according to state, agency, and billing standards What We're Looking For Ideal candidates bring: Strong clinical skills and experience working with high‑need individuals Leadership experience in community‑based behavioral health programs Advanced assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills Ability to mentor, guide, and support interdisciplinary staff Knowledge of recovery‑oriented, person‑centered care models Required Education and Licenses Master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology, education, vocational rehabilitation, or other appropriate therapeutic discipline and two years of full-time (or equivalent part time) work experience in social service delivery in provision of professional therapeutic services to individuals with disabilities. Any of the following licenses will be considered: LPC - preferred LCSW - preferred
