We are seeking a friendly, organized, and motivated Patient Care Coordinator to join our growing team in Thomaston, Georgia. As the first point of contact for many of our patients, you will play a critical role in creating an exceptional patient experience while supporting our clinical team and ensuring smooth office operations. What You'll Do Answer incoming calls professionally and courteously, responding to inquiries or directing calls appropriately. Welcome patients, families, and visitors with a positive and helpful attitude. Collect, verify, and maintain accurate patient demographic and insurance information. Schedule appointments and coordinate follow-up care as needed. Confirm upcoming appointments according to company procedures. Perform pre-visit chart audits to ensure required documentation and treatment plans are complete. Educate patients and families on insurance requirements, referrals, copays, and necessary paperwork. Follow up with patients regarding outstanding documentation or insurance requirements. Collect patient payments and required documentation based on insurance benefits and coverage. Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation within the patient record system. Support clinical staff and contribute to an efficient, patient-focused office environment. QualificationsRequired High School Diploma or GED. Strong customer service and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Professional, compassionate, and service-oriented attitude. Preferred One to two years of medical office, healthcare, or patient-facing experience. Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR), preferably Nymbl.
