A highly respected multi-location ophthalmology and eye care practice is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join its leadership team in Valdosta, GA . This nationally recognized organization provides comprehensive eye care services, including the diagnosis and medical treatment of eye diseases, advanced ophthalmic procedures, and patient-centered vision care. The practice operates multiple locations throughout South Georgia, including Valdosta, Tifton, Douglas, Madison, and Moultrie, and is known for its exceptional physicians, compassionate culture, and commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. Position Summary The Operations Manager works closely with the Facility Administrator to oversee the daily administrative, financial, operational, and optical functions of the practice. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient clinic operations, supporting staff development, maintaining high standards of patient care, and driving organizational success across multiple locations. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day operations across multiple clinic locations. Partner with the Facility Administrator to implement operational strategies and organizational goals. Oversee administrative, financial, and optical department functions. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and procedures. Lead, mentor, and support clinic managers and staff. Improve workflows, productivity, and patient satisfaction initiatives. Coordinate staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation. Collaborate with physicians and leadership teams to optimize practice performance. Support budgeting, financial reporting, and cost-control initiatives. Foster a positive, patient-focused culture throughout the organization. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Management, or related field. Experience managing multiple healthcare or clinical locations. Strong operational leadership and team management skills. Ability to work effectively in a highly matrixed and collaborative environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Experience managing budgets, operational processes, and performance metrics.
