Hospice Savannah Inc. - SAVANNAH, GA 31406Job Summary The Clinical Manager is directly responsible for the coordination and supervision of the day to day patient care operations of Home Care, to include personnel, quality of care, and compliance with Hospice Savannah's, state and federal regulatory policies and procedures. The Clinical Manager is committed to the philosophy, goals and objectives while consistently demonstrating Hospice Savannah's values and compliance with service excellence standards. QualificationsMinimum Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current, unrestricted Georgia Registered Nurse license; BSN preferred. Minimum of three years of management or supervisory experience, including staff supervision, performance evaluation, and healthcare financial oversight. Current CPR certification Valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and reliable transportation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems. Physical Demands & Work Environment This position requires sustained visual concentration, including frequent reading, computer use, and review of electronic patient records. The role involves regular interaction with patients, families, physicians, medical facilities, vendors, and organizational staff, requiring strong communication, problem solving skills, and professional demeanor. The position carries potential exposure to infectious diseases and requires adherence to standard safety precautions. The incumbent must be able to ambulate, assist with patient mobility, and lift or transfer patients— with or without assistive devices— in excess of 75 pounds using proper body mechanics. The work environment includes emotionally demanding situations related to end of life care, requiring the ability to document patient and family encounters accurately, concisely, and in a timely manner using electronic systems. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position with an expected 40hour workweek. Hours may include evenings, weekends, and afterhours responsibilities as needed to manage departmental operations, attend meetings, and support organizational functions. Participation in the clinical administrative on call rotation is required. Travel The position requires periodic travel between Hospice Savannah facilities and other work related locations using a personal vehicle.
