Job Description
Job Overview Bridge The Gap Therapy is a growing pediatric therapy practice seeking an experienced, organized, and professional Insurance, Billing & Administrative Manager to lead front office operations and oversee insurance, billing, authorizations, scheduling, and administrative team management. This is a leadership position ideal for someone with prior management experience in healthcare administration, medical billing, or insurance coordination who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can confidently make day-to-day operational decisions. Responsibilities Verify insurance benefits and coverage for incoming/current clients Submit, track, and manage therapy authorizations and care approvals Monitor client therapy visit limits and authorization usage Oversee billing processes, claims, payments, and insurance inquiries Answer phones and communicate professionally with parents/caregivers Schedule evaluations and ongoing speech/occupational therapy appointments Coordinate therapist schedules and maximize scheduling efficiency Maintain client and therapist documentation (POCs, referrals, IEPs, hearing screenings, etc.) Supervise, train, and support administrative/front office staff Make daily managerial decisions to support clinic workflow and operations Troubleshoot scheduling, billing, and client service concerns Assist ownership in improving systems and administrative processes Qualifications Prior management or team leadership experience required Healthcare administration, medical billing, insurance, or authorization experience strongly preferred Excellent phone communication and customer service skills required Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to make independent decisions and problem-solve effectively High attention to detail and professionalism Experience working in a fast-paced medical or therapy office preferred Benefits Full-Time Position Benefits Offered Supportive Team Environment Growth Opportunities Within Expanding Practice To Apply Please submit your resume and relevant experience for consideration.
