JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES
Clinical Operations Manager is responsible for daily operations of the nursing unit, and supervision and support of personnel and patients. Includes administrative duties and may include hands-on clinical duties and responsibilities. Assists in setting the standard of care in the department, consistent with the mission, vision and philosophy of the organization.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Seeing, hearing, speaking, finger dexterity, standing, walking.
Continuous:
lifting up to ½ lb., grasping, stooping, forward reaching, handling.
Frequent:
pushing and pulling up to 30 pounds of force, lifting up to 10 lbs., bending.
Occasional:
squatting, twisting, pushing and pulling up to maximum 50 pounds of force; lifting: horizontal lift/carry up to maximum 50 pounds; floor to waist up to 35 lbs., waist to shoulder up to 25 lbs., overhead level up to 15 lbs.; carrying up to 35 lbs, running, climbing, side bending, kneeling, crouching, overhead reaching.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions. Exposure to body fluids, blood products, and communicable diseases. Management of confused/disoriented and combative patients may involve tasks which may compromise physical safety.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE
Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Nurse. Bachelor's degree in Nursing. Current BLS certification.
B. EXPERIENCE
Three (3) years progressive experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute facility. One (1) year leadership/supervisory experience. Three (3) years leadership experience in a hospital setting or related medical field preferred. Equal Opportunity Employer / Disability / Vet Your Health.
