Job Description

Clinical Resource Coordinator (223599-14) Play a key role in supporting patient care by coordinating administrative operations, managing medical documentation, and ensuring seamless communication between healthcare teams. Hours Full-time, Monday-Friday 7:45am-4:45pm Location Honolulu, Oahu Pay $26 to $27 an hour Responsibilities Maintain and organize patient records in electronic and paper formats while ensuring confidentiality. Coordinate patient appointments, procedures, transportation, admissions, transfers, and discharges. Process medical documentation, physician orders, authorizations, requisitions, and consent forms. Manage incoming calls, relay messages, and communicate updates to patients, families, and staff. Order supplies, monitor inventory, and assist with equipment maintenance requests. Provide administrative support through data entry, report preparation, correspondence, and departmental coordination. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of two years of general clerical or administrative experience performing a variety of office support functions. At least one year of experience in a healthcare setting such as a hospital, clinic, or physician's office. Experience working with physicians and coordinating patient care documentation and orders. Demonstrated knowledge and practical application of medical terminology in a clinical environment. Working knowledge of medical terminology. Proficiency with computers, office equipment, and standard office software. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities. Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
