Full-time, Non-exempt, year-round, 12-month
Salary Range :
$46,500 ($22.36 per hour) to $51,500 ($24.76 per hour) annually based on experience

Health Center Reports to : Director of Health Services Founded in 1863 by Queen Emma and King Kamehameha IV, 'Iolani School is an Episcopal day and boarding school in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi enrolling approximately 2,200 students on its K-12, 25-acre urban campus. Job Summary :
The Health Center Coordinator supports daily operations through student intake, attendance tracking, documentation, inventory management, and clerical responsibilities to ensure efficient and organized Health Center operations. Under the supervision of the Director of Health Services, the coordinator is also responsible for scheduling, coordinating, and managing three blood drives on campus and student influenza vaccination clinics.
Essential Responsibilities :
Student Intake and Attendance :
Check in all student visits and complete referral slips for Lower School students. Monitor and track attendance and maintain the shared attendance tracking system. Enter attendance data into Veracross and coordinate with the Health Services Nurses to resolve discrepancies.
Health Records and Documentation :
Scan, upload, and maintain physician notes and medical documentation. Ensure records are organized and accurate. Support maintenance of compliant student health records under supervision of the Director. Student Health Coordination for
Off-Campus Field Trips/Camps :
Collect parental consent forms and health information for overnight trips and off campus activities. Compile information into clear, organized formats for medical volunteers and staff. Ensure accurate communication of medications, allergies, and health conditions.
Program and Event Coordination :
Independently coordinate and manage three blood drives per school year, including donor recruitment, scheduling, and staffing. Collaborate with student leaders for blood drive recruitment. Coordinate and manage an annual flu vaccination clinic, including scheduling and collection and review of parental consent forms. Collaborate with vendors to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Inventory and Supply Management :
Monitor and maintain Health Center backstock supplies and inventory. Organize storage areas for efficiency and accessibility. Notify the Director of Health Services when supplies need replenishment.
Health Center Environment :
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming Health Center environment. Ensure high use areas are regularly cleaned and prepared for daily operations.
AED Monitoring and Compliance :
Perform monthly checks of the AED units to ensure functionality and readiness. Verify supplies, batteries, and alarms are operational. Document checks on tags and tracking system and report issues to the Director of Health Services.
Field Trip and Event First Aid Kits :
Maintain, stock and organize first aid kits. Distribute kits as requested and track issuance. Collect and restock kits after use.
Minimum Qualifications :
High School diploma. Minimum three years of administrative or office support experience, preferably in a medical setting or a school environment. Excellent interpersonal skills with students as well as adults. Ability to handle interruptions, multiple demands, and deadlines.
Working knowledge of:
Microsoft Office, in particular, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Google Suite, in particular,
Calendar, Drive, Docs, Forms, and Sheets Zoom Video Conferencing Veracross Magnus Health Working Conditions and Physical Requirements :
Ability to see and hear within normal parameters with or without correction. Full range of head, neck, and back movement; unrestricted ability to bend knees, raise arms above the head, and to move hands, fingers, and wrists. Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds without difficulty. Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for sustained periods of time. Work is generally performed Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Must successfully pass fingerprint background check and TB clearance due to working in proximity to children.
