Job Summary •Our primary expectations are consistent attendance and honesty•The Patient Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience for patients within a healthcare setting. This position involves managing patient interactions, coordinating care, and providing administrative support to enhance the overall efficiency of the medical or dental office. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and a compassionate approach to patient care. Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, addressing inquiries and providing information about services. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal use of time and resources. Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records (EHR) systems. Assist with insurance verification and pre-authorization processes. Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and follow-up procedures. Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information. Provide administrative support, including managing office supplies and equipment. Skills Experience in a dental or medical office setting is preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient records and schedules. Proficient in office software applications, including EHR systems and standard office tools. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
