The Health Services Director will oversee the overall health care operations of the facility, ensuring the highest standards of care for our residents. This leadership role requires a compassionate and organized professional who can manage a team of healthcare providers, coordinate services, and develop health programs tailored to resident needs.Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
Direct and supervise the nursing staff and other health service personnel. Develop and implement policies and procedures for health services in compliance with regulatory standards. Conduct regular staff training and development programs to enhance quality of care.Resident Care:
Assess and monitor the health needs of residents, creating individualized care plans. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and families to ensure comprehensive care. Ensure proper medication management and administration protocols are followed.Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing health services in assisted living. Maintain accurate health records and documentation in accordance with best practices and legal requirements.Quality Improvement:
Evaluate and improve health service delivery through regular audits and feedback mechanisms. Address and resolve resident concerns and complaints related to health services.Community Relations:
Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and external healthcare providers. Promote health and wellness programs within the facility and the broader community.Qualifications:
Current RN license in Iowa . Minimum of two years of experience in a healthcare management role, preferably in assisted living or long-term care. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in health services. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team and foster a positive work environment.Benefits:
