POSITION
Responsible for the day to day operation of the Dining Services Department
SUPERVISES
All Dining Services Staff
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
  • Certified Dietary Manager or Registered Licensed Dietician or willingness to achieve the same.
  • One year dietary experience in a supervisory capacity in a hospital, long-term care facility, or other related facility preferred.
  • Demonstrates effective communication skills with staff, residents and the public
  • Demonstrates ability to develop and maintain good interpersonal relations with all staff and residents.
  • Demonstrates excellent judgement, problem solving skills and independent decision making skills.
  • Ability to adjust and follow standardized recipes.
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to perform simple calculations.
  • Willing to work beyond normal working hours, on weekends, and in other positions temporarily, when necessary. Flexible schedule is required.
  • Regular attendance and presence in the building is required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English language.
