You'll be responsible for ensuring these workflows are executed accurately and efficiently, while continuously improving systems, communication, and overall operational performance. You'll act as a key operational partner across the clinic. This includes helping improve workflows, strengthen communication, and ensure high-quality patient care. Monday-Friday, 8am - 4:30pm What You Bring to the Team Required qualifications and skills: Minimum of a high school diploma or GED 2+ years of experience working in a clinic setting 2+ years of experience using electronic medical records (EMR) Strong knowledge of benefit verification and prior authorization processes Professional, friendly, and effective communication in person, virtually, and by phone Accurate and thorough documentation skills Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced healthcare environment A proactive mindset with the ability to take ownership, solve problems, and support team success Interest in professional growth, process improvement, and expanding responsibilities over time Preferred qualifications and skills: Associates degree Experience using athenaOne EMR Experience working with diabetes care or related patient populations How You'll Make a Difference Bringing a growth mindset with a proactive approach to learning, improving workflows, and expanding operational responsibility over time. Help drive efficient clinic operations by proactively identifying needs, solving problems, and maintaining continuity of care. Manage referrals from start to finish, ensuring patients receive timely, well-coordinated care Coordinate with billing partners and support patients with billing and insurance questions to ensure accuracy and clarity Verify benefits and manage prior authorizations to prevent delays in patient care Serve as a trusted liaison between internal teams, patients, and external partners to ensure communication, accountability, and follow-through Oversee key processes and programs, ensuring accurate tracking, coordination, and follow-through Identify opportunities to improve clinic workflows, strengthen processes, and increase operational efficiency across teams.
