The Rehab Coordinator is responsible for coordination of all Rehab team equipment set-ups and staff scheduling as directed. The Rehab Coordinator acts as a liaison between Norco ATPs, Rehab Specialist and Technicians, and their customers and referral sources to trouble shoot questions and problems and assure excellent communication is maintained. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Coordinate team schedules and patient set-ups, answer and route rehab staff/patient communications Schedule rehab staff to optimize workflows Work with patients, physicians, therapists and referral sources to optimize the equipment needs for customers Understand payer requirements for equipment and be able to clearly communicate them to customers Perform insurance verification and obtain necessary documentation for equipment coverage Stay well informed of industry updates and Medicare changes, particularly those related to rehab Assist with rehab sales support and in-services within a defined region, as necessary Assist customer service staff to coordinate rehab related discharges Perform other tasks as assigned or necessary Qualifications High School graduate or equivalent.
