Job Description

We're a dynamic women's centric Physical Therapy clinic. This role involves scheduling patients, coordinating visits, and assisting with various office tasks related to patient care. To excel in this position, you should possess several skills and qualities. Here's a summary of what's required:
Job Title:
Scheduler/Aide Work Hours:
5 days a week, 8 am to 5 pm
Responsibilities:
Scheduling Patients:
Efficiently schedule patient appointments, considering the availability of Physical Therapists (PT) and Physical Therapy Assistants (PTA).
Patient Coordination:
Ensure smooth and timely patient visits, working closely with PTs and PTAs to coordinate their schedules.
Communication Skills:
Maintain good written and verbal communication skills to interact with patients, answer inquiries, and provide necessary information. Handle phone communication professionally.
Computer Skills:
Be proficient with computer software and office tools to manage patient records, scheduling software, and other administrative tasks.
Patient Care Support:
Assist office staff in providing excellent patient care, which may include tasks like greeting and directing patients, collecting payments, or maintaining patient records. Adherence to
Clinic's Focus:
Understand and support the women's centric approach of the clinic, showing empathy and understanding towards the unique needs of female patients.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in healthcare administration, scheduling, or a similar role is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and patient record management. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a dynamic clinic environment. Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to create a welcoming environment for patients. Proficiency in using scheduling software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant office tools. A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to healthcare regulations.
