Grand Peaks is seeking a detail oriented Medical Records and Referral Coordinator to join our medical team at the St. Anthony Medical Clinic. This full time position is scheduled Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wage is DOE. In this role, you'll coordinate medical records and referrals to help ensure patients receive timely, efficient, and high quality care. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and able to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy, excellent customer service, and a positive attitude in a busy clinic environment. Key Responsibilities Request, receive, and organize patient medical records from internal and external sources Scan, upload, and categorize documents Coordinate outgoing and incoming referrals with specialists and other providers Communicate with patients, providers and external offices to ensure timely care coordination Process outgoing and incoming referrals, ensuring complete and timely documentation Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Additional duties as assigned within the scope of the role
Requirements:
Experience in medical records, healthcare administration, or referral coordination preferred High school diploma or GED required Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills Clear, professional communication skills Must pass a background check Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred If this opportunity feels like a good fit for you, we'd love to hear from you!
