At Healthcare Skilled Nursing, we have an exciting growth opportunity for a responsible and motivated CNA to step into the role of Staffing Coordinator/Medical Records Clerk.
Education/Experience Required:
High school diploma or equivalent; Must have an active, and in good standing, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Illinois; Must have a valid BLS/CPR certification; 2+ years experience in scheduling in long term care/skilled nursing setting required. Skills Required Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to maintain confidentiality; Attention to detail; Professionalism in both appearance and attitude. What Will You Do in This Role? As Staffing Coordinator/Medical Records Clerk, you will be responsible for creation and upkeep of the weekly staffing schedules, report call-offs, arrange replacements for open shifts, as well as being willing to work the floor if necessary. You will work collaboratively with the Administrator, DON, and the HR Director to ensure the facility is fully staffed; this may include, but is not limited to assisting in new hire orientation, training new staff, completion of background checks, etc. You will be responsible for the scheduling of transportation for our residents to and from doctor's appointments as needed. Additionally, you will be expected to maintain the confidentiality of the health records of all residents and ensure resident medical records are given only to authorized personnel both internally and externally.
