Overview Director of Perioperative Services Location:

Full-Time, Exempt The Director of Surgical Services is responsible for the leadership, direction, and operational oversight of perioperative services including the Operating Room (OR), Ambulatory Surgery, and Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care while driving operational excellence, regulatory compliance, financial stewardship, and workforce engagement. Responsibilities The Director collaborates closely with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure exceptional patient outcomes and efficient surgical services operations. Provide leadership and operational oversight for Surgical Services, Ambulatory Surgery, and PACU departments Ensure delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered perioperative care Partner with physicians, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary teams to support operational and clinical goals Lead staffing, workforce development, performance management, and employee engagement initiatives Maintain regulatory compliance, accreditation standards, and patient safety initiatives Lead departmental performance improvement activities and quality initiatives Develop, manage, and monitor departmental budgets and resource utilization Serve as a clinical and operational resource regarding nursing practice, policies, and procedures Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)-(AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. A minimum of two years supervisory/management experience necessary. At least two (2) years of experience in Surgical Nursing. Current Certified Nurse OR (CNOR) (AORN) certificate(s) upon hire, preferred. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required for all new hires after 1/11/2021. FACILITY SPECIFIC

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $100,339.20 to $135,054.40 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
