Job Description

Responsibilities:
Identify and qualify prospective customers within the United States for Phase I/II projects for Vetter's clinical sites in Skokie, Illinois, USA (VDSC) and Rankweil, Austria (VDSR) Strengthen existing customer relationships to expand the business Build and update target list regularly Actively promote Vetter through social media, industry associations, and trade shows Host customer visits at VDSC, VDSR, and occasionally in Germany Develop active relationships with relevant industry consultants Seek out new networking channels and cultivate new leads to promote Vetter. Need to be an active "hunter" for new business Prepare estimates and quotations for prospective and existing customers Facilitate and negotiate confidentiality and development agreements in conjunction with Vetter's legal department Identify and exhibit/speak at trade shows and relevant industry events
Requirements:
Technical Degree (B.S. or M.S.) in an applied science (Biotechnology or similar) or engineering Sales experience in the technical pharmaceutical and packaging industry required MBA and strong account management preferred Experience in aseptic pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging highly desirable Knowledge of the specific needs and requirements of a contract development and manufacturing organization Fluent English skills required This position requires 25-30% domestic travel and occasional travel to Austria, Germany, and North America Based in the US
