Our growing outpatient imaging centers are seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our clinic and play a key role in delivering a smooth, efficient patient experience. Job Summary The Patient Care Coordinator is the first point of contact for patients and is responsible for making sure every visit begins and ends with exceptional service. This role combines front desk responsibilities with scheduling, insurance eligibility, and administrative support. Note also that this position prefers fluency in both English and Spanish. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients, ensuring a warm and professional first impression
- Verify insurance eligibility and patient demographics and collect outstanding balances
- Schedule and confirm imaging appointments and provide preparation instructions
- Coordinate with technologists and staff to keep patient flow efficient and on-time
- Accurately input patient data into the RIS system and maintain confidential records
- Answer patient questions, resolve concerns, and provide clear communication about procedures, insurance, and billing
- Maintain an organized front desk and waiting room area What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
