We have been serving our community for over 50 years! We are a small boutique clinic looking for a part or full time ophthalmic technician. Under new management, Naperville Eye Associates wants to create a friendly family orientated experience for our patients. We understand that patients are not here just see the doctor, but also to create lasting relationships with our technicians. We emphasize short waiting times and friendly attentive service.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and schedule ophthalmology surgical procedures Obtain prior authorizations and verify insurance coverage Communicate with surgical centers and anesthesia providers Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions and support Maintain accurate patient records and surgical logs Act as a point of contact for patients with questions or concerns regarding surgery Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
Qualifications:
Strong understanding of medical terminology and insurance processes Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities Proficient in EHR systems and
Microsoft Office Suite Job Types:
