Job Description

Overview Derm Collective North Shore is seeking an experienced, highly engaged Clinical Supervisor to serve as the operational leader of our clinical team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced dermatology environment and enjoys mentoring others while remaining deeply involved in patient care and daily clinic flow. Our Clinical Supervisor works directly on the floor alongside providers and Medical Assistants each day — leading by example, supporting patient care, troubleshooting in real time, and helping the clinical department run smoothly from open to close. Founded by board-certified dermatologists Dr. Rachel Pritzker and Dr. Todd Johnson, Derm Collective North Shore provides premier care in medical, surgical, cosmetic dermatology, and Mohs surgery. We pride ourselves on exceptional patient experience, strong teamwork, and high clinical standards. Responsibilities Leading daily clinical operations and patient flow Supporting providers during exams, procedures, surgeries, and cosmetic treatments Training, mentoring, and onboarding Medical Assistants Providing real-time coaching and troubleshooting throughout clinic operations Managing room readiness, supplies, equipment, and workflow coordination Acting as the go-to resource for clinical questions and operational support Helping maintain a positive, collaborative, accountable team culture Supporting operational efficiency, patient satisfaction, and clinical excellence Assisting with inventory management and clinical organization Ensuring adherence to OSHA, CLIA, infection control, and clinical protocols Collaborating closely with providers, leadership, and front office staff to optimize the patient experience Qualifications Minimum 5 years of dermatology experience required Prior experience as a Lead MA, Clinical Lead, trainer, or senior-level Medical Assistant strongly preferred Strong knowledge of medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology workflows Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to lead and motivate a team through influence, accountability, and example Strong multitasking, problem-solving, and organizational abilities Experience supporting a fast-paced provider schedule while maintaining exceptional patient care CMA or RMA certification preferred Join our dedicated healthcare team where your leadership will directly influence positive patient experiences.
