The Role:
We are seeking a Youth Therapist Supervisor to provide clinical leadership, supervision, and direct therapeutic services within our behavioral health program. In this role, you will work closely with the Clinical Program Manager to ensure high-quality, ethical, and effective services are delivered to children, adolescents, and their families. You will have the opportunity to mentor therapists and interns, foster professional growth, and help shape the delivery of trauma-informed, evidence-based care while maintaining your own clinical practice.
What You'll Do Clinical Leadership & Supervision:
Provide clinical supervision and support to therapists and clinical interns. Oversee the daily workflow and ongoing performance of up to six direct reports. Conduct annual performance evaluations and provide regular coaching and feedback. Review and approve clinical documentation to ensure quality and compliance standards are met. Support staff in completing risk assessments and navigating emergent clinical situations. Monitor supervisee caseloads, documentation deadlines, and billing expectations. Facilitate clinical consultation and case review meetings. Approve supervision hours for clinicians pursuing professional licensure. Support the development of staff through training recommendations and professional development opportunities.
Direct Clinical Services:
Provide individual, family, and group therapy to youth ages 6-17 and their families. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing therapeutic interventions. Utilize trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and developmentally appropriate treatment approaches. Complete and maintain clinical documentation in accordance with agency, accreditation, funding, and payer requirements. Coordinate care and connect youth and families with community resources and support services. Serve as an advocate for clients and families when collaborating with schools, healthcare providers, and community partners.
Community Engagement:
Represent the organization at community meetings, school meetings, and collaborative partnerships. Participate in outreach efforts, workshops, and educational presentations as needed.
Required Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health field. Active Clinical License (LCSW required). Experience providing mental health services to children, adolescents, and families. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Commitment to ethical, trauma-informed, and client-centered care. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Two to three years of clinical supervisory experience. Employee Assistance Program Schedule:
This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday. To meet the needs of the clients and families we serve, the schedule includes: One evening shift per week: 12:00 PM
- 8:00 PM One late-day shift per week: 10:00 AM
- 6:00 PM Remaining workdays: 9:00 AM
- 5:00 PM Specific days for evening and late-day coverage will be determined in collaboration with the Clinical Program Manager based on program and client needs.
