JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
Manages community health programs and aligns collaborative funding opportunities in support of PCCHD vision, mission, strategic plan, and community health improvement including grant writing and grants management. Bachelor's Degree in public health, social work, business administration, community planning, communications, or related field. Master's degree preferred. Previous experience with homeless programs and HUD/Continuum of Care also preferred. Three years' experience in public health, community health, social work, or communications, Must have organizational, grant and project management, and critical thinking skills. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Must have public speaking and presentation skills. Must have excellent interpersonal and group facilitation skills. Must possess the ability to interact well with community leaders, business, representatives, media, employees, elected and appointed officials, and the public. Have knowledge of the practice of public relations as applied to government public affairs preferred. Must have effective problem-solving skills and be able to handle multiple tasks with interruptions, as well as ability to appropriately prioritize workload. Knowledge and ability to utilize computers and related technology efficiently, including but not limited to: Windows based operating systems; Microsoft Office software such as Word, Outlook, and Excel; Presentation software such as PowerPoint and Canva. Familiarity with collaboration software such as SharePoint preferred. Have the ability to produce accurate and timely reports, information releases, and other publications. Possess the ability to work independently and under deadlines.
