Overview:
The Pediatric ENT Nurse Manager will oversee the complex pediatric program and be responsible for: Day-to-day clinic operations, including pediatric audiology services and office-based ENT procedures. Ensuring safety and regulatory compliance for procedures performed outside the OR Coordinating care across sedation, anesthesia, and surgical settings Leading care model transformation, including the transition of select procedures from the OR to ambulatory settings within Pediatric Sedation and the ENT clinic Providing leadership across Peoria, Galesburg, and Bloomington, with continued geographic expansion through new satellite clinics aligned with CHOI's strategic goal to improve access to pediatric specialty care Oversight of the Aerodigestive Program The division continues to advance clinical practices while increasing the complexity of patients served. The care model is becoming more multidisciplinary, integrated, and resource-intensive, requiring strong nursing leadership to ensure quality, coordination, and safety across multiple service lines. These initiatives reflect CHOI's continued evolution toward destination-level care for medically complex pediatric patients, offering coordinated specialty services that historically required travel to larger healthcare systems. The Nurse Manager is integral to operationalizing these programs and ensuring children can receive high-quality care close to home.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager of Hospital Clinics and Services is responsible for communicating, implementing and monitoring the operational and strategic objectives of the hospital outpatient assigned site(s). When applicable, working as a leadership dyad with the Lead Clinician of the assigned site(s). Through strong working relationships with physicians and administrative leaders, ensures the provision of quality care delivery and standardized efficient operations in the assigned site(s). Serves as a visionary leader and role model of the OSF Leader Core Competencies. Positively support the OSF vision and Key Results. Lead the process of change within the assigned site(s). Supports a culture of continuous improvement and conveys the need for change to Team Members, so they are able to see the vision and reason for change.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
Bachelor's in
Nursing Licenses/Certifications:
RN-Registered Nurse Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.; Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software.; Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in business or allied health professions. 3 years experience in a clinical environment Active participation in medical group management and/or leadership education is desirable. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
