Job Description

Outpatient Coordinator Turning Point is looking to hire an individual to serve as Outpatient Coordinator. The Outpatient Coordinator provides staff administrative supervision and support; clinical supervision and support; plans and facilitates team meetings; tracks program statistics, compiles reports, and works to ensure that program goals are being met. The Outpatient Coordinator is an agency trainer for clinical paperwork, and is responsible for training staff on clinical documentation, the Electronic Medical Record, and maintaining appropriate training materials. The Outpatient Coordinator also supports the work of Director of Clinical Services involving program development, crisis management, grants management, special projects, community relations, staff management (including interviews, hiring, disciplinary actions and termination), network/resource development, and other duties as assigned based on needs of the agency. This position requires some flexibility with one's work schedule and must be available to work during program hours and activities (currently Monday through Friday), and requires some evening hours. As a fully licensed clinician (LMFT, LCPC, LCSW, Psychologist), the Outpatient Coordinator will provide direct services, including assessment, treatment planning, and case management to clients, and will perform administrative tasks in accordance with agency procedures. Clinicians will request cases as needed based on productivity expectations. Clinicians are expected to demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to expand clinical knowledge base by seeing clients with diverse presenting issues. This position requires a caseload. Clinicians are responsible for managing their caseloads, billing targets, appointments, holidays, time off, client engagement, down time, and self-care; and seeking support when needed. Required Qualifications 1. Must have minimum educational attainment of Master's degree in field of Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Clinical Psychology from an accredited program. 2. Must have experience working in a clinical setting, providing direct services to clients. 3. Must possess clinical licensure, or be in the process of working towards hours for licensure examination. Must complete licensure exam and attain clinical licensure within 6 months of starting this position. Preferred Qualifications 1. Prior supervisory experience in a clinical mental health setting.
