Job Description

Performance Eyecare in Swansea, IL is looking for a friendly, organized, people focused Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator who can help create a great first impression for every patient. Our front desk team is the heartbeat of the office. They answer phones, welcome patients, schedule appointments, verify information, support patient flow, and help keep the day running smoothly. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys helping people, staying busy, solving problems, and making patients feel cared for from the moment they contact us. What You'll Do Greet patients with warmth and professionalism Answer phones and assist patients with questions Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments Check patients in and out Collect and update patient information Verify insurance and explain basic benefits Collect payments and review balances Help patients complete forms and paperwork Communicate with doctors, opticians, technicians, and leadership Support patient flow throughout the office Help with recall, follow up calls, and appointment reminders Handle patient concerns with empathy and ownership Keep the front desk area organized and welcoming Jump in to help the team wherever needed What We're Looking For Positive, friendly, and patient focused Organized and detail oriented Comfortable talking on the phone Strong communication skills Calm under pressure Dependable, accountable, and willing to learn Comfortable using computers and office systems Able to multitask in a fast paced environment Professional with patients and team members Flexible and willing to help in other areas when needed Someone who brings solutions, not excuses Our Culture At Performance Eyecare, we work hard, care deeply, and believe patients should feel valued from the first phone call to checkout. Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Application Question(s): This role requires answering phones throughout the day.
