Full Job Description Position Summary:
The Patient Care Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the clinic by ensuring a positive patient experience. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to patient care and clinic flow.
Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Front Desk Duties Assist with patient scheduling, rescheduling, and appointment confirmations Support front desk operations including check-in/check-out processes and payment collection Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointments and clinic policies Insurance verification Answering phone/faxes EMR (Electronic Medical Record) use and efficiency Patient Interaction & Customer Service Greet patients warmly and ensure a welcoming, professional environment Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient needs and questions promptly Assist in creating a positive, comfortable experience throughout each visit Clinic Operations Support Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe treatment environment Prepare and sanitize treatment areas and equipment between patients Ensure supplies are stocked and clinic spaces are orderly Assist in keeping the clinic running smoothly and efficiently throughout the day Key Attributes for Success Strong communication and interpersonal skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Friendly, approachable, and patient-focused Reliable and proactive Strong work ethic with willingness to learn High school diploma or equivalent required Experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates eager to learn. Experience working in an outpatient medical setting—especially in orthopedics—will help you excel in this role.
