Rehabilitation Clinical Support Associate
PRN Job Description Overview Schedule:
This is a PRN position between 6:00am- 6:00pm
Location:
This position will support Rehab Services at the following locations:Morgan Hospital Bloomington Hospital Bedford Hospital Paoli Hospital Responsibilities:
This position oversees patient flow from point of entry to destination and ensures timely, accurate and professional services. This position is responsible for timely and accurate resolution of patient's accounts. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to obtaining specific information to generate accurate financial and demographic records, insurance verification, prior authorization, and coordination of benefits. Communicates with payers and patients to achieve accurate financial information. Responsible for accurate registration of patients, scheduling recurring appointments, answers incoming calls and directs patient and visitors appropriately. Participates in operational aspects of the department and maintains performance improvement activities as required. Participates in all infection control, department equipment training, regulatory compliance, organizational safety and fire safety programs. Orders, distributes and maintains designated and appropriate inventory of department related supplies. The position adheres to departmental productivity, quality and service standards in support of operational goals.Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED is required. 0-3 years Customer Service/Medical experience desired. Minimum one-year medical office experience or combination of extensive customer service work experience and education in insurance verification, patient registration and medical terminology preferred. Requires basic proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, TEAMS) We are an equal opportunity employer.
