JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
OF POSITION
The Team Leader will provide direct supervision for an outpatient Substance Use Disorders Treatment Team that provides the entire range of outpatient treatment services including IOP and other groups, Peer services, Therapy, Case Management, etc. The Team Leader will be responsible for the day to day operations of the outpatient program and staff. The Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Team Leader oversees an outpatient treatment team providing IOP, trauma informed groups, individual therapy, case management, and peer services. Leading 8-10 staff, this role manages daily operations, ensures quality care, and provides both group and individual supervision. The Team Leader is responsible for meeting key performance indicators, monitoring outcomes, and aligning services with community needs. This position also represents the agency within Bartholomew County problem solving courts and other community initiatives, collaborating closely with Court Services and local partners. The ideal candidate has experience delivering outpatient therapy and groups for individuals with substance use disorders and is skilled in using ASAM criteria to determine appropriate levels of care. Leadership or supervisory experience in behavioral health or SUD services is preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Provides direct client care using best practices within scope of degree and license. Completes all required assessments and reassessments on time. Maintains timely and accurate clinical records in accordance with Organization polices and completes clinical documentation within one business day of the service provided. Complies with Performance Management review timelines for all direct reports. Tracks and monitors productivity expectations for team and follow up appropriately for team success. Monitors and maintains budget requirements. Recruits, trains and supervises staff within the expectations of Centerstone's policies and procedures. Maintains effective relationships with Community referral sources.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods Basic computer literacy required Skills in utilizing an electronic medical record Knowledge of community resources
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Level Master's degree in counseling, psychology or social work required. Years of Experience N/A Certification/Licensure
LSW, LMHC-A, LMFT-A, LCAC-A
required. Actively working towards 4-letter license by meeting supervision requirements and scheduling exam, as appropriate.
