SEBMF-East Bay Medical Foundation Position Overview:
Provides administrative and clinical leadership for assigned outpatient/clinic service line(s) of an affiliate or geographic area. Establishes and implements goals, standards and practices that guide and support patient care initiatives while ensuring the delivery of high-value quality care and exceptional care experiences. Develops and fosters a solid partnership with physicians, medical staff and Sutter Health leaders, care teams and other employees to facilitate and collaborate on initiatives, to resolve operational challenges and/or to improve processes. Works with senior leadership to develop and establish short- and long-term strategic plans that complement system, operating unit or affiliate goals and initiatives, including business, operations, and/or organizational priorities. Sets priorities and allocates resources to align with business objectives and annual plan. Develops and establishes the direction of policies and procedures, and sets a structure for providing safe, consistent and effective patient care.

EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
Bachelor's:
Administration, Management or related field
OR Other:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE
12 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of all aspects of the practice management environment, including scope of practice issues and care center, site, and/or specialty operations. Knowledge of state, regulatory, cms, and accrediting requirements. Knowledge of implementing and leading quality improvement programs and initiatives. Knowledge of the healthcare system, billing processes, clinical procedures, budget preparation, staffing models, employee regulations, and previous interaction with physicians in a management role. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with physicians, senior management, managers, and care center staff. Knowledge of physician office operations and reimbursement procedures. Ability to lead professionals, influence collaboration, and to conduct and interpret quantitative/qualitative analysis, as well as proven leadership skills in project management, consulting, and communication skills. Experience with Lean production in ambulatory healthcare is desired. Business and analytical skills, including financial planning and assessment. Proficient in both written and verbal communication. Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making

Pay Range is $183,643.20 to $293,841.60 / annual salary The compensation range may vary based on the geographic location where the position is filled.
