Day Shift
Our Client, a Healthcare company, is looking for a Rehab Therapy Supervisor
- DH for their Fort Wayne, IN location.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for daily operations and assists the Manager/Directors department initiatives.
These include but are not limited to personnel management, innovation, financial stability, sound unprejudiced judgment, corporate compliance with safety practices, and accreditation/licensure requirements.
Is responsible for the organization, implementation, and supervision of the department's technical aspects through implementation and monitoring of policies/procedures and program development and growth, as needed.
Has a strong understanding of the overall therapy workflow within the department.
Assigns unbiased work through the development of scheduled work hours for staff that supports the mission and values of client.
Requirements:
Education
Speech
Pathologist:
Must hold at a minimum a Master's Degree in Speech- Pathology from a school accredited by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech
- Pathology (CAA).
OR
Physical Therapist:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy, with a physical therapy degree as follows: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree, if graduated prior 1/1/2016; Doctorate of Physical Therapy required, if graduated after 1/1/2016; International Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school and possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy. Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree preferred.
OR
Occupational Therapist:
Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Occupational Therapy, with an Occupational Therapy degree as follows: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree if graduated before 1/1/2002; Master's degree required if graduated after 1/1/2002; International Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school and possess a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy. A Master's degree is preferred.
Licensure/Certification
Must hold or be eligible to receive a Physical Therapist/Occupational Therapist/Speech Pathologist license in the State where services will be provided. State licensure must be obtained within the first 90 days of employment.
SLPs must hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
APTA/AOTA/ASHA
membership preferred.
Must be certified in CPR or must become certified within the first 90 days of employment.
Must maintain all certifications and licenses according to the expiration date.

RN, 0252
Registered Nurse, 0235 Advanced Registered Nurse, and 0236 Expert Registered Nurse.

Experience
Must have a minimum of three years experience as a physical therapist, occupational therapist, or speech-language pathologist.
ious supervisory experience preferred.
Other Qualifications
Must be able to lift 50 pounds; 100 pounds shared lifting.
Must have good verbal and written communication skills.
