About the Role As a Clinical Support Coordinator , you are at the heart of the organ and tissue donation process.
Your responsibilities will include:
Obtaining informed telephone authorization and conducting comprehensive medical and social history risk assessments with families of patients who authorize donation. Collaborating directly with clinicians to perform medical screenings on patients to determine donation eligibility. Case management of all aspects of tissue cases and shared organ cases, ensuring seamless transitions and effective case completion. Providing accurate, timely information to both internal and external stakeholders. Who We're Looking For We seek individuals who are passionate about healthcare, teamwork, and making a difference.
Ideal candidates will have:
Post-secondary training or education in a relevant field is required. Bachelor's degree is preferred, but other healthcare backgrounds will be considered (ICU Tech, ER Tech, LPN, Medical Assistant, etc.). Strong case management & communication skills with a commitment to providing compassionate support to donor families. Excellent data entry & computer skills are required. Experience with one or more electronic medical record systems is preferred. The ability to multitask in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. Schedule & Work Environment This role follows a rotating 12-hour shift schedule (either 7:00 AM
  • 7:00 PM for day shift or 7:00 PM
  • 7:00 AM for night shift), including weekends and holidays.
