This role allows for promotion to a hearing specialist and will suit a motivated individual Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist with check-in and check-out procedures to foster a positive experience. Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments efficiently using our electronic health record system. Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Communicate effectively with patients regarding appointment reminders, follow-up instructions, and necessary documentation. Support medical staff by preparing patient charts, updating records, and managing administrative tasks related to patient care. Handle incoming calls professionally, addressing inquiries and directing calls to appropriate team members promptly. Maintain a clean and organized reception area, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Qualifications Prior experience in a medical or dental office setting is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology to accurately interpret clinical information. Proven ability to provide excellent medical administrative support with attention to detail. Office experience demonstrating proficiency in scheduling software and electronic health records. Excellent communication skills with the ability to empathize and build rapport with diverse patients. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
