What You'll Do As a Clinical Quality Coordinator, you'll report to the Director of Women and Children's Services and participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of quality and safety initiatives across the division. You will support clinical teams through performance improvement methodologies, project management, data analysis, and collaboration focused on improving patient outcomes and regulatory compliance. Clinical Quality Coordinator Responsibilities Collaborate with leadership to identify and drive quality initiatives aligned with organizational goals and regulatory requirements Facilitate performance improvement projects and workshops utilizing quality improvement tools and methodologies Conduct research and collect, analyze, interpret, and present clinical and operational data Manage multiple quality initiatives simultaneously while monitoring timelines, outcomes, and project effectiveness Identify and escalate barriers, risks, and opportunities impacting quality initiatives and develop mitigation plans Track, assess, and report key quality outcome measures Promote multidisciplinary collaboration to support quality and process improvement initiatives Develop data collection tools for abstraction of relevant clinical data from medical records Ensure data integrity through adherence to established definitions and validation processes Prepare data presentations for physicians, leadership teams, committees, and external reporting agencies Serve as a change agent in quality and patient safety improvement efforts Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and quality reporting expectations Monitor and communicate trends in quality and safety data across the Women's and Children's Division Promote a culture of quality and safety throughout the organization Maintain current knowledge of clinical processes, procedures, quality methodologies, and regulatory standards Complete additional job-related assignments and special projects as assigned What You Bring As a Clinical Quality Coordinator, you'll bring strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills along with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You demonstrate professionalism, collaboration, and the ability to build effective relationships with physicians, leaders, and interdisciplinary teams. You are skilled in data analysis, project coordination, and quality improvement methodologies that support organizational excellence and patient safety. Knowledge & Skills Demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills necessary to develop and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external contacts Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly and effectively Creative and strategic thinking skills to conceptualize, plan, and develop project materials and communications Proficiency in computer applications including Google Docs, Microsoft Word, and Excel Working knowledge of database applications and basic understanding of graphics software preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to establish priorities, meet deadlines, work independently, and coordinate multiple tasks Education and Experience Experience in quality improvement tools, such as Lean, Six Sigma or TQM, or other comparable performance improvement strategies is required. A Bachelor degree or higher is preferred for this position. Prior successful experience in a healthcare environment is preferred. Experience in project management is preferred.
