Help Therapists Grow. Most therapists can identify a supervisor, mentor, or clinical leader who changed the trajectory of their career. We are looking for someone who wants to be that person. Thrive Counseling and Wellness is seeking an experienced LCPC to join our team in a hybrid role that combines direct client care, clinical supervision, and therapist development. This position is ideal for a seasoned clinician who still loves working with clients but also feels called to invest in the next generation of therapists. As our Senior Therapist & Clinical Supervisor, you will maintain an active therapy caseload while also providing supervision, mentorship, consultation, and professional development for LPCs pursuing independent clinical licensure. At the heart of this role, you are a therapist developer, a clinical leader, and someone who takes seriously the responsibility of helping newer therapists become highly effective clinicians. We are seeking an experienced supervisor who will help shape therapist development, strengthen clinical excellence, and contribute to the growth of our team. The ideal candidate finds genuine satisfaction in teaching, mentoring, providing feedback, and helping newer therapists develop the confidence, wisdom, and clinical judgment that only comes through intentional growth.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Direct Client Care Maintain an active caseload of clients Provide high-quality therapy services Serve as a clinical leader and example of best practices Contribute advanced clinical expertise to the team Clinical Supervision & Therapist Development Provide supervision that meets Kansas requirements for LPCs pursuing LCPC licensure Support therapists in developing clinical skills, confidence, professional identity, and sound clinical judgment Review cases, treatment planning, documentation, ethics, risk assessment, and clinical decision-making Offer constructive feedback, guidance, challenge, and encouragement Assist with onboarding and development of newer clinicians Help identify training needs and growth opportunities across the clinical team Participate in clinical consultation and case discussions Assist in team trainings that support the growth of our clinicians Leadership Partnership Collaborate closely with practice leadership regarding therapist development Help strengthen a culture of excellence, accountability, and growth Support ongoing quality improvement efforts Contribute ideas that help both therapists and the practice thrive

STRATEGIC CLINICAL PRIORITIES
Couples Therapy Developing highly skilled couples therapists is a strategic priority for our practice. The ideal candidate has significant experience working with couples and can help newer clinicians develop competence in: Couples assessment Attachment dynamics Conflict cycles Communication challenges Betrayal and affair recovery Relationship repair and relational healing Trauma-Informed Care The ideal candidate has advanced training and substantial experience working with trauma and understands how trauma impacts: Individuals Couples Families Attachment systems Emotional regulation The therapeutic process Preference will be given to candidates with advanced training in approaches such as: EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) EMDR Attachment-based approaches IFS Somatic therapies Other evidence-based trauma and relationship-focused models
