Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Coordinator to join our dental team. In this vital role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for patients, ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience from appointment scheduling to follow-up care. Your energetic and organized approach will help patients schedule treatment they need, utilize their insurance benefits, send and receive insurance claims/ EOBs, and contribute to the growth and development of the practice. Candidates must have at least 1-2 years of dental front office experience and be familiar with dental PM software. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives while working in a dynamic, positive environment. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in procedures, ensuring a positive first impression Schedule appointments accurately using dental PMS software, coordinating with providers' availability Collect and verify patient information, including insurance details and medical history, maintaining confidentiality at all times Communicate promptly and clearly with patients regarding pre-visit instructions, test results, and follow-up care plans Manage patient records by updating electronic health records (EHR) systems efficiently and securely Answer incoming calls promptly, addressing questions or concerns with professionalism and empathy Support dental team by preparing necessary documentation, verifying patient information, and handling administrative tasks related to patient care Requirements Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare billing setting is highly preferred Strong knowledge of dental terminology to accurately interpret clinical information Proven ability to provide excellent administrative support in a fast-paced environment Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail Experience working in a dental office is required Excellent communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a friendly, energetic attitude We offer a positive, professional culture with loyal, friendly patients to care for.
