Scrub Tech OR/Outpatient Services Coordinator

Position Summary Coordinates all outpatient services to ensure efficient scheduling, insurance verification, and communication across departments. Supports holistic pain management and operating room functions while maintaining strong customer service and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule surgical and anesthesia procedures. Obtain and document insurance notifications, authorizations, and benefit details. Ensure payer‑specific requirements are met and assist Business Office with account updates. Perform data entry, maintain schedules, and track departmental statistics. Oversee procurement, inventory, supply management, and vendor agreements. Support departmental operations including policy development, budgeting, reporting, and staffing oversight as needed. Maintain professional development and participate in hospital meetings. Qualifications High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree preferred. 1-3 years healthcare experience preferred. Kansas RN, CMA, or Certified Scrub Tech required. Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with frequent interruptions. Physical Requirements Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching. Possible exposure to biohazards and chemicals.
