Develops and implements a comprehensive procedure database for all robotic procedures. Maintains and updates Doctor Preference Cards (DPCs) by procedure and specialty. Manages supplies to avoid waste and ensure cost containment. Coordinates surgery schedules to prevent conflicts and optimize block time utilization. Ensures timely availability of instruments and equipment for all cases. Collaborates with sterile processing to ensure proper decontamination and sterilization of instrumentation. Oversees the surgical team to ensure safe management and point-of-use cleaning of instruments. Assists intraoperatively during robotic procedures. Interviews, hires, and trains robotics staff to maintain a high level of expertise. Develops and implements orientation, training, and competency review programs for staff. Assists with budget management and cost containment for the robotic service line. Performs other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to communicate by reading, writing legibly, speaking, and comprehending effectively to carry out job requirements [Required]
- Knowledge of regulatory standards (i.e. OSHA, Specialty Standards) [Preferred]
- Ability to communicate effectively and present information to both large and small groups [Preferred]
- Ability to manage stress and handle challenging situations and personalities [Preferred]
- Computer knowledge and skills [Preferred]
Education:
- Bachelor's [Preferred]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- Master's of Nursing [Preferred]
Field of Study:
- in
Social, Natural, Mathematical, or Biological Sciences Work Experience:
- 3+ years of robotic experience [Required]
- Experience in the clinical setting related to area of specialty [Preferred]
Additional Information:

- Basic Life Support
- CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- NBSTSA Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) [Preferred] OR ABSA Certified Surgical First Assistant (CSFA) [Preferred]
