Duties Help As a
PSYCHOLOGICAL HEALTH PROGRAM MANAGER
, GS-0101-12, you will provide preventive, remedial, and support services aimed improving and sustaining the psychological health of Nional Guard (NG) military members and their families. As part of the Office of the Ste Surgeon the incumbent exercises technical oversight, plans, coordines, monitors and provides access to a full range of professional services for the eligible populions served. Duties focus on outreach, educion and prevention, needs-based and psychosocial assessment, diagnosis, short-term problem resolution, and provision of or referral to evidenced-based interventions. Responsibilities include providing primary, secondary, and tertiary prevention programs, specialty training for NG health care professionals and other personnel on issues reled to the psychological health of Guardsmen and their families, and multi-level community organizion, collaborion, and enhancement. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Federal employment suitability as determined by a background investigion. May be required to successfully complete a probionary period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. Position designed as Essential and may be subject to duty in preparion for, or in response to, a ste emergency or disaster declarion. This designion will not exceed 14 calendar days per year unless otherwise approved in advance by the TAG. Must have 24 months of experience in clinical counseling work assignments. Completed Nional Agency Check (NAC) prior to position assignment. Possess a current, unrestricted Ste license to practice clinical counseling work independently. Qualificions

Degree:
behavioral or social science; or reled disciplines approprie to the position th included least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. or Combinion of educion and experience th provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field th included least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. or Four years of approprie experience th demonstred th the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
: Must have 1 year specialized experience equivalent to least the next lower grade level. Experience, educion or training analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, ghering pertinent da and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluing objectives and develop plans to facilite the availability and effective utilizion of various social science resources. Must have knowledge of the organizion and its mission and utilized the organizional staff procedures. Experience applying analytical and evaluive techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of social science program operions carried out by administrive or professional personnel, or substantive administrive support functions.
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
Possess a current, unrestricted Ste license to practice clinical counseling work independently. Must have 24 months of experience in clinical counseling work assignments.
