Job Description Summary:

Job Description:
The director will assess community behavioral health needs, provide input for facility strategic planning, business development, community outreach and maintain ongoing communication with key facility referral sources to promote information about Peace's services; provide customer service with coordination of patient care; ability to discuss treatment/recommendations with referral sources.
Essential Functions:
Reviews referral source data and track trends from referral sources in territory Initiates face to face contact with referral sources throughout the assigned region by conducting outreach visits to their agencies Maintains positive referral source relationships in targeted regions Responsible for processing referral source complaints working directly and appropriate administrative personnel in developing strategies to resolve concerns and improve services Leads monthly department meetings. Works directly with UofL Health's marketing department to develop promotional materials, participate/coordinate media opportunities, write and coordinate blogs, special media posts, website content, etc. Participate in and represent Peace Hospital on community coalitions and committees. Assist in coordinating Peace Hospital's annual fundraising event. Seek new business opportunities for growth, develop memorandum of understanding and assist with grant proposals.
Other Functions:
Abides by the Standards of Conduct in addition to all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements Demonstrates a commitment to the presentation of a professional image in the workplace with regard to dress, personal appearance and hygiene Abides by UofL Health policies regarding attendance and timeliness as applies Achieves excellence through teamwork by working with others to provide desired outcomes Exhibits willingness to learn/perform tasks outside the scope of his/her regular job duties and/or work additional hours/shifts as necessary to meet customer needs Completes all assigned Annual Competencies and KNOW Modules by due date.
Measure of Success:
No deficiencies in completion of assigned KNOW modules Maintains compliance with all company policies, procedures and standards of conduct Complies with HIPAA privacy and security requirements to maintain confidentiality at all times Performs other duties as assigned
Additional Job Description:
Education:
Master's degree in a human services field (required)
Experience:
At least 2 years' experience in a behavioral health setting working independently in marketing, business development or clinical setting (required) Record of working with or building relationships with other community resources (required UofL Health is a fully integrated regional academic health system with nine hospitals, four medical centers, Brown Cancer Center, Eye Institute, nearly 200 physician practice locations and more than 1,000 providers in Louisville and the surrounding counties, including southern Indiana.
