The IT Manager - Healthcare Analytics is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of data analytics, reporting, and visualization strategies across the organization. This role ensures accurate, timely, and actionable insights to support clinical quality, operational efficiency, financial performance, and regulatory reporting within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) environment. The position serves as a strategic liaison between clinical, operational, executive leadership and IT translating data into meaningful insights that drive performance improvement and compliance with HRSA, UDS, and value-based care requirements. Essential Job Functions include, but are not limited to: Satisfies Core Competencies Accepts responsibility for meeting the standards of the professional, ethical, and relevant legislated requirements. Data Analytics & Reporting:
Lead the development and maintenance of enterprise analytics and reporting solutions (e.g., provider productivity, quality measures, financial dashboards). Expand and enhance OHCC's portfolio of analytics tools, overseeing dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple systems (EHR, practice management, dental systems, etc.). Develop automated reporting processes to reduce manual effort and improve timeliness of data delivery. Clinical Quality & Regulatory Reporting:
Support reporting for HRSA UDS, CMS
quality measures, and other regulatory requirements. Collaborate with clinical and quality teams to monitor performance on key measures (e.g., HEDIS, UDS, value-based metrics). Ensure alignment of reporting logic with measure specifications and audit requirements. IT & System Support:

Provide data-driven insights for executive leadership to support strategic decision-making. Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and operational performance. Support grant applications, program reporting, and strategic initiatives with data analysis. Participates in meetings, telephone conferences, industry conferences as deemed necessary. Team Leadership & Development:
Supervise and mentor analysts and reporting staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Establish performance standards and provide ongoing coaching and feedback. Coordinate cross-functional collaboration between IT, quality, finance, and operations teams. Safety/Infection Control:
Adheres to organizational infection control policies, including proper hand hygiene, use of PPE when required, and safe interactions in clinical areas. Follows protocols related to exposure control plans (e.g., bloodborne pathogens, airborne pathogens). Reports any potential exposure, safety hazard, or incident immediately per agency procedure. Complies with all safety policies, emergency preparedness plans, and procedures for fire safety, active shooter, natural disasters, etc. Maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff. Participates in mandatory safety, compliance, and emergency response trainings. Adheres to HIPAA, 42 CFR
Part 2 (for substance use data), and all privacy/security regulations. Follows all FQHC compliance programs including incident reporting, quality assurance, and risk management protocols. Follows all practice standards and documentation requirements necessary for FTCA risk‑management compliance. Workforce Development:
Responsible for maintaining up-to-date knowledge, skills, and abilities Attends and participates in in-service, monthly staff meetings, continuing education offerings, community training events, conferences, and webinars as appropriate Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in health informatics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Public Health, or related field required 2+ years of experience in healthcare data analytics, reporting, or health IT 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred Skills, Licensure, and Knowledge Requirements Proficiency in data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) Proficiency in SQL and/or data query skills Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, Power Query, automation) Physical Demands :
